Some of your Google searches could now be answered to by selfie videos from celebrities

Google is continuously experimenting with innovative features that will provide the most convenient yet exciting services to its clients thus making its services as prodigious as it can be.


Its latest upgraded feature has to do with its lifeblood, Google Search. The product manager, Rami Banna pronounced that some searches on google will now exhibit selfie videos from some of your most preferred celebrities.

The debut of this development will first be launched on mobile phones, and when one asks question like: Can Will Ferrel really play the drums?, he/she will get a selfie video of Will Ferrel on the drums to give reply to the question. This may seem to be totally uncalled for, but after toying with it for a while, it has proven to be entertaining.

The video can be paused immediately it starts by tapping on your screen, also swiping through the cards at the bottom or allowing a video to finish playing will take you to the next question.

Celebrities that you will receive video responses from include; Priyanka Chopra, Will Ferrell, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gina Rodriguez, Kenan Thompson, Allison Williams, Nick Jonas, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Yeo and Dominique Ansel.

The video responses don’t appear when asking questions through Google assistant, but they can be displayed when the questions are asked through the main Google app.
