Did you Know Apple sold its one billionth phone late last month?

Steve Jobs and Tim have built the biggest detention facility in the world: Apple has imprisoned us all. Everyone wants an iPhone. The tears you shed when you lose your iPhone 6S could be enough to your laundry for a week. The prayers that follow a gift of an iPad Pro to a priest usually have more tongues than those of a gift of an Android phone. Is this because it is easier calling on God on FaceTime ? LOL.

Big news there for Apple

And now at an employee meeting in Cupertino just some fees days, CEO Tim Cook made the ear-deafening announcement that Apple recently sold the billionth iPhone.

“iPhone has become one of the most important, world-changing and successful products in history. It’s become more than a constant companion. iPhone is truly an essential part of our daily life and enables much of what we do throughout the day,” said Cook. “Last week we passed another major milestone when we sold the billionth iPhone. We never set out to make the most, but we’ve always set out to make the best products that make a difference. Thank you to everyone at Apple for helping change the world every day.”

This is quite unbelievable considering that the iPhone just had its debut in 2007. So you see that it took just under a ten years for Apple to jump pass the one billion figure.
