In a time when major social media platforms are trimming their relationship with devices, Skype is trying to chop down the list of devices it rolls with. Of course you know WhatsApp has filed for divorce with Bkackberry and Symbian devices; with the users of the aforementioned devices owed no alimony.
Now of you remember, some last month,announcing that by this October 2016, Skype will cease to be compatible with older versions of some operating systems which includes Windows Phone, iOS, Android, as well as OS X.
But then Microsoft is giving these old versions a little bit longer amnesty as it has stretched the deadline when it will drop support for these versions to early 2017. But then while full Skype will not be having all its features complete as some limitations will come in before Skype eventually packs all its luggage out by early 2017.
