The iPhone is a very popular device and since it has a default ringtone that is built into it, a crowd with a lot of iPhone users could get confused if one more of them got a call while they were all in one place. So if you’re an iPhone user and you want change your ringtone but you don’t know how, follow the steps below.
- Go to Settings on your iPhone. Click on Sounds & Haptics.
- While on the Sounds & Haptics page, click the “Ringtone” option (if you want to change tones like text message, emails, there are options for them).
- On the Ringtone page, tap the different ringtones to hear them play.
- If you then find a ringtone you fancy, tap the back button to save it.
If you want something more conventional, you could go to the iTunes Store or you could create a store of your own. Down here is a sample where we made use of, Sexy and I know It by LMFAO.
Also, you can assign ringtones to individual contacts on your phone. This is quite helpful if you intend to avoid calls from certain people or you want to be aware when a member of your family or a friend calls. You can as well use a silent ringtone if you want to put some calls on silent, however, you can’t do the same for messages or notifications.
