It is said that change is constant, but those over guy there at Sony seem very reluctant to accept change. This has shown in the same look for Sony devices for almost four years.
Finally the wind of change seem to have caught up with them and now they look more likely to bring fresh stuff up as to the look of their phones. Kenichiro Hibi who is a top Sony official precisely Sony’s managing director for India has revealed that Sony is “planning to launch [a] new generation of products, and you can expect a complete new design from the devices.”
Although Mr Kenchiro didn’t really specify the exact timeline we could be expending this new design, from our calculation, it could be possibly the start of 2018. From the way we know Sony to operate pertaining to their release calendar, Sony could be pulling out their first batch of designs by February next year at the mobile world congress so if we don’t see the new Sony designs by February, it could be the next batch in cause of the IFA. But it is unlikely to be later than that as Mr Kenchiro indicated that the new designs would be released soon.
This move is wise coming from Sony now considering that many manufacturers are drifting into the trend towards phone with much reduced bezels phones as to their phone screens as we know Sony is planning on having taller phone screens for their new designs.
