According to the reports reaching us from our sources, a lot of expectations are set upon the release of larger iPhone models during the course of this year and these devices are expected to arrive in different colours. Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable analyst has predicted that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone which according to rumours is about to be released by Apple will come in black, white and gold colours. Also, the 6.1-inch LED iPhone that rumours say will soon be launched is reported to arrive in grey, white, blue, red, and orange variants.
If the report we got happens to be correct, it means then that Apple is introducing at the very least four new colours for its 2018 iPhones which is somewhat of an uncommon step for the company to take. What Apple usually does is launch a red version a few months after a new iPhone is launched in a bid to promote Product (RED) – an organization that is campaigning to fight HIV and AIDS in Africa. There’s never been an occasion where Apple released an orange version of the iPhone at any time and the company for a long time has been relying on cases to add colour to the iPhone’s regular grey/black and white models. The iPhone 5C as at 2013 was launched in green, blue, yellow, pink, and white versions and this was because of a polycarbonate back.
It was entirely clear that Apple has been planning a gold variant of the iPhone X because FCC revealed this at an earlier time this year. Our sources have given us a hint on what the 2018 iPhones colours could be. The more recent rumours going around state that Apple will launch three new iPhones by fall. A new iPhone X Plus is rumoured to have a 6.5-inch display and also include dual SIM support. There’s also rumours of a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone having slim bezels and it will have a Face ID feature. Apple is expected to update its 5.8-inch iPhone X and include some developments in its specification.
