Acer’s new Predator Helios 500

According to the reports that we received from our sources, Acer made an announcement of a new gaming computer system, the Helios 500, which happens to be a much bigger and extra powerful version of the Helios 300 model that the company released in the previous year. It has a whopping 17.3-inch screen size and it also carries options for even more advanced graphic cards and processors.

The options the Helios 500 has comprise of either a 4K with Nvidia G-Sync, or a 1080p 144Hz display also with Nvidia G-Sync. This powerhouse can be configured with a processor that is approaching an Intel Core i9+ 8950HK, a GTX 1070 GPU carrying a total of 8GB memory, as well as 64GB of RAM. As is the case with other laptops produced by Acer that have been designed for games, the Helios 500 makes use of Acer’s Dual AeroBlade 3D fans for what it describes as having an improved cooling. More so, the Helios 500 has a lot of LED lighting built into it.

Our sources also reported that the company has also kept users on their toes with a new Predator X line that is yet to come. It says that the new products will exploit the power of Intel’s commercial-grade Xeon processors for gaming, however, no actual products that will use the processors were announced.
