Microsoft has gone back on its decision to make a reduction to its free OneDrive storage from 15GB to 5GB back in December. With the reality that the unlimited storage is still being removed, users will be no longer be able claim the free 15GB of storage.

Microsoft now nurses the intents to make provision of Office 365 Personal subscriptions to any OneDrive user who is using free space exceeding 5GB. The duration of free subscriptions is for a year procuring for 1TB of space during the subscription period.
