4GB is the New Threshold for RAMs on Mobile Phones

Remember the days of Java devices when you had just 128MB of RAM? Even up to the Symbian days. It wasn’t until recently that RAM sizes were relevantly increased. And now, what do we have? Phones with RAMs ranging from 1GB to 4GB and even more. Now mobile phone manufacturers have decided that the least RAM a phone should have is 4GBs and they have pushed out a few of these phones with reasonable prices(I think). Feast your eyes on these beauties:

1. Asus Zenphone 2: This is the world’s first 4GB RAM device. It was launched earlier this year in CES 2015 featuring 64-bit Intel Atom processor, 13 MP camera with 3x optical zoom. Read the full specs here.

2. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro : Released January 2015, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is another device representing the 4GB RAM clan. With a huge 5.7 inch display, it also sports fine all round design with a 13MP camera. See the full specifications HERE .

3. Lenovo K80 : The Lenovo K80 is the latest addition to the 4GB RAM family. Amazingly, it features a 4000mAh battery, other notable features are 5.5-inch screen, and internal memory of 64GB. See the full specifications HERE.

So, in a few years if you hold something like a One Plus One, someone prolly gon’ look at you like “nigga, where’s you from?”.

The increased RAM is a really good step up and I think with a little more effort, mobile devices are gonna be doing a lot more than they do currently(which is a lot if you ask me).

Tell us what you think about having a lot more RAM on your phone and also about any other thing techy (questions or opinions); don’t forget to share and subscribe!
