It is important to note that there are not many Core i9 in existence. The fact that the Zenbook Pro 15 is one of them and it does not happen to be just a laptop for games is remarkable.

There are of course lower versions of the new Zenbook Pro 15 that are available, which contain six-core Core i7 8750H or the quad-core Core i5-8300H processors. Each of them display optiexons (4K and 1080p) use 15.6-inch IPS multitouch LCD screens with a full AdobeRGB colour space support. They include an infrequent spec: lower and higher-end screen options with full colour spacing which can hardly be seen in Windows laptops.

In terms of design, the Zenbook Pro 15 will have edges that are rose gold with a branded “Deep Dive Blue” aluminium chassis that looks crisp especially in its recommendations. The aforementioned GTX 1050 will contain 4GB of GDDR5 memory, RAM capacity is either 8GB or 16GB. Also, Asus provides an SSD that has about 1TB of storage (PCIe 3.0 x4/NVMe).

In order to control the heat coming out from a computer with this much specs, Asus is making use of three heat pipes and two fans to cool the Zenbook.

The Zenbook comes with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI display output, a microSD card reader, TRRS audio jack, including an exclusive jack for charging. According to the documents on the Zenbook Pro 15, the weak components of the device is a VGA camera and a 71 WH Li-Poly battery that the company asserts will be able to last for about 91/2 hours of use.

The price for the new Zenbook Pro 15 is has not yet been announced, however, it is expected that they are going to be pretty expensive.
