Microsoft Set to Merge Separate Versions of Windows into One Unified Operating System

Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s new CEO
The only nutrient we gained from the Eden apple Adam ate is technology! Though we still sell our sweat to nature before we eat, man is making a small Eden for himself from the laboratories (technology). The most recent breakthrough of all could make the holiest of angels envy the mankind as man tries to plough a garden from a rock!
One of the leading actors in the cast of global technology, Microsoft is striving hard to provide “scientific cosmetics” that would still make them goodlooking and attractive to their customers. The latest on their aspirations now is to converge their multiple operating systems (windows, windows phone, Xbox) into one mother platform preferably the Universal Windows Apps- or even a more delicious one!
This project has been on the table for some time now as a converged system that could accommodate all screen sizes, enhancing a common user experience. This as expected will could make a “Methusaleh-tech” enabling them live very long in the market against the muscular likes of Apple and Android.
While talking on the company’s quarterly earnings call, Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella has hinted on this promising unification project. Nadella had reported Microsoft will “streamline the next version of Windows from three operating systems into one single converged operating system; this means one operating system that covers all screen sizes.” This project could be smelled as the Windows 9 which could make its debut by spring 2015 or more realistically the Windows 8.2.
This promises to unify the apps, app stores, and developer tools, making it a juicy target for developers. Microsoft’s three leading operating systmes already make use of the same Windows NT kernel, in collaboration with some relatively less-enhanced libraries, though the CEO didn’t mention this directly. The CEO had already advertised segmentation possibilities by SKU, such that you wouldn’t need buy one Windows copy to install on your device adding that Microsoft now has “one team with a common architecture” whom would “approach Windows as one ecosystem.”
This is going to be great, isn’t it? Let us keep our fingers crossed, as we prepare those fingers to swipe across more seducing windows devices!
