Google honoured the pioneering American aviation expert named Amelia Earhart with a chocolate brown colored Google Doodle on her 115th birth anniversary.
Amelia Earhart was renowned as the first woman to cross the Atlantic alone on her own on May 20–21, 1932. Below is a shot of the doodle on Amelia Earhart’s on Google homepage

The doodle shows how Amelia Earhart’s was climbing her Lockheed Vega 5B monoplane, Earhart’s yellow scarf fluttering in the wind. The Google letters take the place of the original registration number of the Lockheed Vega 5b – NR-7952 – painted below the wings of the aircraft.
Amelia Earhart wrote some bestselling books titled: “20 Hrs., 40 Min” (1928) and “The Fun of it” (1932) about her flying experiences.
