Juicy update on Instagram enables you to save live videos

The Instagram app has being on the receiving end of some lovely updates of late. One of the latest updates brings in an intoxicating feature we will all love: the capacity to save live videos. With this update in place, once you have finished the broadcasting of a live video, you now have the option of saving it on Instagram.

To be able to save videos on Instagram, all you need do is click on the Save icon whose appearance we have on the top right. This is preceding the end of the live broadcasts so when you click on the save icon, such live video will then be saved to the camera roll of your phone. Meanwhile it is quite important we add here that what you save is particularly the video and not the viewers, comments nor likes.

Instagram is beaming with excitement on the update as revealed in a blogpost by Instagram “We are excited by how our community is using live video to connect with their friends and followers in the moment. This is just the first of many improvements we’ll be making to live videos this year.”

So when you go live, you would simply swipe right from feed, clicking on the “Start Live Video” button. It is also possible now for you as an Instagram user to share a live video for a duration of 60 mins. And when such videos go live, notifications will be despatched to your friends. Friends as well as your followers have the option of commenting on live videos when they tap on the Comment tab which is placed at the bottom even making a writing on the video. And if you want other persons to see a comment more conveniently, what you have to do is tap and hold the comments pinning it to the top.
