The Android Nougat 7.0 has an amazing feature which many of us don’t even know of. This very one is the ability presented in the Nougat 7.0 to pin apps in the share menu. In the case where you have a lovely culture of sharing things a lot and are limited to only a few options, you can really get on this.
The procedure to using this is not hard at all.
If you like to pin a particular function, you can just long-press on the icon. After you have done this, you can then tap on “Pin”. I think it is quite explanatory on its own. Let me use an example. In this case for the fact that I am using “Copy to clipboard” all the time, I now have to pin it.
Nonetheless, should you like to pin a particular contact (even a messaging app like Facebook Messenger is capable of this), the app also could get be pinned too. You could see from the example how the Messenger contact is pinned from the top portion of the share menu (which is quite not clear here).
Owing to this, the Messenger app itself is now pinned. Although this might not really suit everyone, I suppose a better fraction would actually prefer it.
So now you are aware of this feature, you can begin enjoying it!
