No fear people, Apple isn’t chopping features away off the iPad Pro’s Pencil

…Apple has no plans to terminate the availability of its Pencil accessory for the iPad Pro

Following the removal of the capacity to navigate around iOS with the drawing tool (which comes at $99) from iOS 9.3 betas Apple has made official confirmations that all of those features would soon make their return “We believe a finger will always be the primary way users navigate on an iPad, but we understand that some customers like to use Apple Pencil for this as well,” a spokesperson revealed. “We will add this functionality back in the next beta of iOS 9.3.” In difference to the iOS 9.2, a situation where the pencil could come on in the function of a stylus throughout the operating system, these very early 9.3 betas have a reduced ability to take on drawing apps.

We will still have the pencil in full

Apple’s full statement:

“Apple Pencil has been a huge hit with iPad Pro users, who love it for drawing, annotating and taking notes. We believe a finger will always be the primary way users navigate on an iPad, but we understand that some customers like to use Apple Pencil for this as well and we’ve been working on ways to better implement this while maintaining compatibility during this latest beta cycle. We will add this functionality back in the next beta of iOS 9.3.”

In this light we could disband the circulating rumours that Pencil is forever losing any capabilities, with this official statement pointing out in the first place that was not once an ingredient of the plan; Apple asserts that it has its hands on making improvement to them and removing them for a while from the beta in the meantime. Can we now infer the company possibly has its mind on rebuffing the option altogether? Probably not, but then it was not present in four straight beta releases.

All the same, iPad Pro owners: you will have the capacity to employ the Pencil in the same way your finger does your finger in the successive beta release and once we have the official release of the iOS 9.3 rocking fresh features like secured Notes, and more!
